Heat Treated for Maximum Strength
Controlled heat treatment ensures consistent hardness above 300 HV while maintaining dimensional accuracy.

DIN 125-2A Hardened Flat Washers (Form A) with a hardness of 300 HV or above are specifically designed for high-load fastening assemblies using Class 10.9 bolts and Class 10 nuts. Compared with standard 140HV or 200HV washers, these hardened washers offer significantly greater resistance to indentation, embedment, and deformation under high preload, helping maintain clamp force and joint integrity in demanding industrial environments. Their dimensions correspond to DIN 125A and are commonly supplied in accordance with ISO 7089 (300 HV).

DIN 125-2A Hardened (≥300 HV)
Standard DIN 125 (140–200 HV)
Controlled heat treatment ensures consistent hardness above 300 HV while maintaining dimensional accuracy.
The hardened bearing surface minimizes embedment relaxation, helping retain bolt preload over time.
The hardened version has a minimum hardness of 300 HV, with typical values ranging between 300 HV and 400 HV after heat treatment.
300 HV washers are recommended for Property Class 10.9 bolts and Class 10 nuts, where higher preload and bearing strength are required.
Yes. DIN 125A has largely been replaced by ISO 7089, and their dimensions are interchangeable in most applications.
